Sound and Light Show at Amber Palace
Amber or Amer Fort is one of the important tourist attractions in the Jaipur area, located high on a hill.Amer Fort was built by Raja Man Singh I. Amer Fort is known for its artistic style, blending both Hindu and Rajput elements. With its large ramparts, series of gates and cobbled paths, the fort overlooks the Maota Lake, at its forefront.
The well- organized evening Sound and Light Show here is a fascinating attraction of the Amber Fort, with its rocky walls provided with an energetic backdrop for the light- effects. Made exciting by repeating of the various stories and legends of the Rajput Kings attended by harmonious folk music. They tell you the story of Rajputs and explain and the attractive narration takes you through the memory lane of Amer, describing its traditions and the grand lifestyle of the royal family.
The narrative of the fort’s glorious past is voiced by Amitabh Bachchan, the most distinctive voice in Indian cinema. This show starts on every evening at Kesar Kyari.
City Palace - Museum at Night
City Palace, the central attraction of Jaipur that showcases some of the rare personal collection of the Maharajahs of Jaipur, from his robe and weapons to antiques and the royal horse driven coaches will now be opened for the visitors during night hours.
The City Palace Museum which often shuts down at 05.00 pm will now also be opened for the evening schedule at 7.00 pm for the tourists. Under the name of “Museum at Night” this initiative has a lot to entertain the tourists in Jaipur. The tourists would be able to enjoy the live music along with dance performances while having their dinner in the museum premises itself.
The Museum at night would be decorated in royal style with the help of ambient lighting. Apart from that, it would host western, fusion and Rajasthani folk performances, and cultural events to attract the foreign tourists in Jaipur.
Sound And Light Show in Jantar Mantar
The light and sound show at the Jantar Mantar as the monument itself is different from other historical monuments. The 45 minutes show is educational in a simple way. A blend of astronomy, astrology and history, which was very informative to me specially.
Maharajah Jai Singh II to make the monument along with a history of Jaipur. Besides using lighting as a tool, they have also experimented with animation and graphics,which was something new to see.
Amar Jawan Jyoti Night Show
The place is situated outside the SMS stadium which is very convenient however the main highlight of the place is design of and musical night show which is awesome and showcase India in awesome ways. In the night show there is commentary on India's main historical events along with Martyrs with light show.
